Marcus is directing Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s outdoor production of Julius Caesar this summer. June 11 through July 20. Tickets and info available here. With fight choreography by Lorraine Ressegger-Slone, the production promises to be the visceral thriller Shakespeare intended it to be.
This spring he is also collaborating with the Adirondack Theatre Festival and Ken Tingley on a new play about the plight of the American Newspaper. He is excited to return to Glens Falls and be a part of the amazing incubator work at ATF.
Marcus was last seen on stage in The Tempest, the debut production of Devil’s Isle Shakespeare Company in Bermuda. Artistic director Séamus Miller and composer Emi Erickson adapted Shakespeare’s play which toured the island in September and October of 2024. Previously Marcus was delighed to be in the cast of The Seafarer by Conor McPherson at Round House Theatre. directed by Artistic Director Ryan Rilette.
